Hey Survivors!

A nice quick update for the weekend...

Art Files

All art files have now been approved for digital proofs. We went through about a week of revisions, but now everything is approved and we're awaiting the proofs. Those should be to us within the coming week, and once approved, the PPC will be produced and on its way to us.

Plastic Samples

The revised plastic samples have also been produced. As you can see below, the colors have been corrected and the Day Tracker and Danger Meter Tokens look great!

Again, a quick update, but as we receive news of progress and things moving forward we want to keep you in the loop.

We'll provide our next update when Digital Proofs are approved and the PPC is being produced.

Print-Prep / Revised Plastic Samples

Hey Survivors!

Hope everyone's March is off to a nice start. We wanted to check in with a nice little update of current happenings...

ART FILES

We have begun the approval process. All art files have been submitted. For anyone who's been involved in one of these projects, you know that this process tends to move fast. It's a lot of approvals and checks before we're provided a PPC to review and approve for manufacturing. This process basically takes us through the first three phases you see above.

Leading up to this process, we also went ahead and added a couple nice additions/stretch goals we hadn't unlocked, but we as the creators wanted in the game. These include:

• Ending Cards - when the game ends, these will resolve with different stories/endings based upon the contents of your player station/raft
• Upgraded Card Materials - all cards have been upgraded to Ivory Core material for a premium look and feel
• Interior Box Printing - another thing we're adding because we just want this to be a killer package. There will be a pattern printed on the interior of the box top. This pattern will also carry over onto the back of the game board.

PLASTIC SAMPLES REVISED

As you saw in the last update we had received the plastic samples. The issue we had was the color of the transfers on the Day Tracker and Danger Meter tokens were off. We've worked with the team to establish proper PMS colors for the transfers  and should be receiving those samples this week for approval.

This part of the process is MOST IMPORTANT. Plastics tend to take the most time, and any delay with them can stall the entire project, so getting these approved a head of printing was our #1 priority. With the plastics ready for manufacturing, it sets us up for the best success.

And that'll do it for this update. We may check in during the middle of the month concerning approvals, or the latest plastic samples, but the update to you should most look forward to will come next month when the PPC is received.

Plastic Samples

Survivors!

Hope everyone's February is off to a nice start! This will be a quick, but fun, update.

We just received samples of all plastics from the FLOAT core game, as well as the mini upgrades and Deep Red Dice... and uh... yea... they look beautiful.

You're currently looking at samples of:

• The 3 Standard Dice
• The Day Tracker Token (Yellow)
• The Danger Tokens (Red)
• Water Cubes
• Deep Red Dice
• Mini Upgrades

To be honest, we're shocked at how perfect all of these have came out in the first run, as plastics can take some time. Our only notes currently we'll be relaying to the factory is the heat transfers onto the Danger and Day Tracker Tokens have turned the ink a little purple. So we're going to work with them to correct that, but other wise, we should be able to get all these into manufacturing and get things moving.

Thought you all would enjoy a nice preview of how things are coming together. There will be more to see for sure as we receive additional samples.

BackerKit: Credit Cards Charging Today

Today (now) credit cards will be charged for shipping, add-ons, and any other purchases you have in your BackerKit account. (This does not apply to international orders)

Important Note About Credit Card Charges

An important note concerning credit cards. Last Kickstarter we had 6 people report their credit cards being charged by MASSACRE & FLOAT GAMES (us) as fraud. This not only resulted in hurting us, as we pay fees for those issues, but it also resulted in those backers not receiving their rewards.

If you see a charge on your card for MASSACRE & FLOAT GAMES, we assure you it is us, and it is for your Kickstarter rewards.

What Happens If My Credit Card Fails?

If your credit card fails you will be notified and have the opportunity to update your card so you can pay for your shipping and rewards, but, until your balance is paid, we cannot fulfill your rewards.

Am I able to update my survey or rewards?

NO. The time for editing orders and add-ons ended on Tuesday, January 18th. Your order will ship as is and be charged for whatever balance you currently have. Unpaid orders will result in loss of rewards or exclusives.

Am I able to update my address?

YES. You will be able to update your address for the Kickstarter up until 2 weeks before the campaign is fulfilled. We will also send out notices about finalizing your shipping address before we begin fulfillment.

Important Dates

Below are the upcoming important dates:

• Credit Cards Get Charged by our company MASSACRE & FLOAT GAMES - TODAY
• Estimated Fulfillment Date / Rewards Shipping - June 15, 2022 (this is an estimate and may change due to manufacturing or the current global shipping issues)

LAST DAY FOR SURVEYS - Surveys Will Be Locked Tonight

Survivors!

A reminder that TODAY is the FINAL DAY to complete your surveys. After tonight (10PM EST), orders will be locked and you will not be able to add to or edit your current order. (this applies to US and CA orders only)

What does this mean (IMPORTANT)?

It means if you have not completed your order by tonight, it will either be cancelled (if your items have not been paid for), or your order will be moved to pre-order status possibly costing you your exclusives or shirts, as these surveys are to help us lock in quantities on these items.

We are 90% complete in terms of orders, with 91 people who have not answered their surveys. Please complete your orders by TONIGHT, 10PM EST.
